Deacon and Yokefellow Sunday School/Bible Study Ministry May, 2010 Deacons are scripturally qualified men, according to I Timothy 3:8-13, who serve the membership of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. Deacons assist the ministry staff in their pastoral duties. Part of their shepherding is accomplished through the Sunday morning Bible study departments. Below is a list of Deacons and Yokefellows and the departments they minister to. Yokefellows serve alongside Deacons helping them in their many ministry functions.
